Calls for Discernment: Died Suddenly, Ancient Apocalypse, and El Sicario

I recently watched a documentary called Died Suddenly, which has been doing the rounds on the internet recently. It has been both widely disseminated and widely criticized. I found the film impactful: disturbing, apocalyptic, even moving, but also quite exciting, and hence a little questionable. Should something this horrific also be this entertaining? Back on the Land After a Long, Hot Summer

Donde Estoy? You may be wondering where I have been? Does such a protracted period of silence mean I have been pulling the plough, with my nose to the grindstone, preparing a place for the Apocalypse for you all? Well, yes and no, but mostly no. See Land-Work Update, below, for more on how theContinue reading “Back on the Land After a Long, Hot Summer”

Lucifer + Ahriman (A Steiner Primer)

The Luciferic beings … strive for just the opposite of what the Ahrimanic beings desire. The Ahrimanic beings seek to free man together with the whole of earth-existence from the cosmic past and to conserve the earthly. The Luciferic beings strive to thrust away the earth, thrust away from man everything earthly and spiritualize himContinue reading “Lucifer + Ahriman (A Steiner Primer)”

The Mirror is Not the Face: Why the Intellect Is No Substitute for Spirit

With intellectual ingenuity, proof can be furnished in support of the most radically opposing theories…  The intellectualism prevailing among men to-day is not capable of demonstrating the inner potentialities and values of anything. It can furnish proofs; but what is intellectually proved should not be regarded as of real value or efficacy in life. Dave Oshana Unwelcome Intell. to Spiritual Foetuses

We are spiritual foetuses. Some things coming into our womb-space are necessary; some are unnecessary; some are damaging. In our current state of awareness, we are not always able to discern the difference between necessary, unnecessary, and damaging. This puts the onus on Dave Oshana to be our eyes and ears, reporting the energetic factsContinue reading “Dave Oshana Unwelcome Intell. to Spiritual Foetuses”
